Keep It In the County :
Local Products for Local Profits
The Washington
County: One Community (WC:OC) Economic Focus Team is pleased to announce
the launch of an innovative program called “Keep It in the County:
Local Products for Local Profits.” This program links schools,
non-profit organizations, and Washington County-based businesses to
offer local products for fund raising activities.
A
program requirement is that all items are produced within Washington
County and the production provides income to residents of Washington
County. WC:OC hopes to add new items and services. For example a massage
therapist might offer a Gift Card redeemable for a massage or local
wreath producer might offer a gift card redeemable for delivery of a
balsam wreath for the holidays.
