 Comprehensive Planning Services  

As a component of the Comprehensive Plan, WCCOG conducted a workshop in Beddington for local residents to come together and create vision for their community.

WCCOG has helped numerous communities in Washington County to complete Comprehensive Plans and Comprehensive Plan Updates.

WCCOG offers assistance to Washington County communities in all areas of the preparation of local Comprehensive Plans. WCCOG helps communities:

• Find and prepare grants to pay for Comprehensive Plans

• Form a committee with sufficient local input to prepare a representative Comprehensive Plan

• Develop a Community Vision

• Write a Comprehensive Plan through a contract for services and get it approved by the State Planning Office

• Create GIS maps to help visualize your community's future

 Comprehensive Plan Funding 

CDBG Planning Grant funds can be used for Comprehensive Plans in income eligible communities. Planning Grant funds are available twice a year. Click here for information.

Comprehensive Plan Grants through the State Planning Office are no longer available.
