Lubec Comprehensive
Plan Update
Lubec's current Comprehensive Plan was written in 1992. A lot has
changed in Lubec since then!
The Comprehensive Plan Update Committee
has been working to update the Town's Comprehensive Plan since 2008. The
Comprehensive Plan Update
pulls together information on a wide-range of community issues to assess
trends and establish town policies. Click here

Update
- July 29, 2010
The Lubec Comprehensive Plan Update
was submitted to the State Planning Office for review in June 2010. On
July 22, the State Planning Office issued a Finding of Incompleteness
based on two missing elements. The Letter from the State Planning Office
also indicated changes that could be made to the Future Land Use Plan in
order to expedite the State Planning Office's review of the plan of
Consistency with Maine's Growth Management Act.
The Comprehensive Plan Update committee
is working to schedule a meeting to discuss the State Planning Office's
Findings. A time and location for that meeting will be posted on this
website as soon as possible. Relevant documents (including the
Comprehensive Plan as submitted to SPO in June are posted below).
