The Code Enforcement Officer Training and Certification program will sponsor a training workshop on basic Subsurface Wastewater Disposal. State Plumbing Inspector Brent Lawson will be presenting this workshop in three locations. Issues covered include recent rule changes, review of full SSWWD rules, seasonal conversion, and minimum lot size. A large portion of this training will be a round table type discussion so attendees can ask questions and talk about issues happening in their community. Registration will begin at 8:30. The session will run from 9:00-4:00. You will have an hour for lunch if you would like to leave the meeting site for lunch.
Local Plumbing Inspectors will earn six recertification credits in the area of Subsurface Wastewater. Individuals seeking certification will find the workshop and materials helpful in preparation for the Subsurface Wastewater exam.

• October 29, 2015 – Houlton Town Office, Council Room, 21 Water St., Houlton
