WCCOG provides a variety of transportation planning services. We provide towns with the assistance they need to find solutions to transportation issues. This includes:

WCCOG also works to promote regional transportation solutions through regional transportation planning efforts undertaken in partnership with the Maine Department of Transportation and regional organizations.

We provide towns with the assistance they need to find solutions to transportation issues. This includes: preparation of regional corridor management plans including the recently completed Downeast Coastal Corridor Plan and the currently on-going Canadian Coastal Corridor Plan development of the transportation elements of local Comprehensive Plans; development of local transportations plans such as Bicycle and Pedestrian Plans; incorporation of access management tools into local ordinances; and gaining access to funding sources from state and federal sources. WCCOG also works to promote regional transportation solutions through regional transportation planning efforts undertaken in partnership with the Maine Department of Transportation and regional organizations.
